Presentation of the company :
Chic Ethnique is an independent shop in Poitiers, where we highlight original styles that are outside the norm. Originally a "coup de coeur" for the Moshiki skirts, then a discovery of the Liligambettes tights and here we are ready to present you the other brands. We appreciate the artisans (local - La Belle Camille, les Filles s'embobinent, or not local, like Lalita or Lila Bohème) and the big brands like SKFK (spain), King Louie (Netherlands) or La Fiancée du Mékong (french fashion brand). It's our place because we like it and it fits our ethics. We present responsible collections in Poitiers and online (La Fiancée du Mélong, Princesse Nomade, Moshiki, Mamatayoe, Dorins, Bla-Bla, Kali Yog, Iez!, Lili Gambettes), and even committed to the environmental and social GOTS certification (Skunkfunk, Tranquillo, Froy and Dind and partly King Louie). For more information on this certification, the most comprehensive in the textile world, click here.
Our women's clothing is characterised by strong colours (printed or plain) in a free style with brands such as Princesse Nomade, Mamatayoe or Moshiki. We also offer you fancy tights from the brand Liligambettes (created by the founder of the website Chic Ethnique), as well as Berthe tights and socks with big feet made in France.
Enhance your outfit with our accessories and jewellery: trendy Skunkfunk bags, more classic La Fiancée du Mékong bags, or completely fun Moshiki clutches! The vintage or very colourful bags are made by Lila Bohême in Brittany. Totally Made in France and handmade. For jewellery, discover our local designer from Poitou: La Belle Camille, who will enchant you with superb colours and patterns for each season, vintage or geometric, it's up to you! Yaya Factory also allows you to accessorise your outfit, and especially your jewellery, by controlling your colours on a daily basis, thanks to the patterns that you can change at will! Again, made in Brittany...
Don't hesitate and come and see us in Poitiers ! The access to the shop is easy and offers the comfort of a gallery (car parks, restaurants, dry feet...). Moreover you will enjoy the most friendly local attraction: the Futuroscope!
